Lest We Forget

Lectures

The highlight of our year was the Foundation Annual lecture which was held at the Stratford Library on Sunday 18th November. It was good to see some of our old committee members attending and supporting the Foundation. Joyce Grandision was the popular choice for our Annual Community Award, she greatly appreciated her recognition and was well supported by her family. The Guest speaker’s Dr James Dawkins and Nailah Cumberbatch did an excellent job and were well received by over 60 people who attended with a mixture of Young and Old.

Event Photos

This is Roy Hayde, a local young poet and regular supporter to the Foundation. There is rarely an event that we have held that Roy hasn’t contributed to with his powerful words on life and his experiences, we would like to say thank you Roy and share with you how much his words can effect.
